to see what will be the policy of the British. We have also appointed a Committee to settle the case of Kiu-kiang. We are not responsible for the outbreak of these two tragic incidents. Our resumption of the

British Concessions at Hankow and Kiu-kiang is

unprecedented in diplomacy during the past 80 years, and it will show that the forefeiture in the past of all sorts

of privileges was all due to the negligence of the militarists. You representatives who have had the opportunity of being present at this Conference, should continue your efforts on behalf of tne kuomintang, and combine with the people to overthrow Militarism

and Imperialism. This is what I appeal to all of you
